About Us
Who We Are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.
Slum and Rural Aid for African Child Development Initiative (SARAFACDI) is a registered non-profit organisation (Reg. No. IT 166951) dedicated to closing education and digital access gaps for children and young people in underserved slum and rural communities. We work in close partnership with under-resourced schools, local leaders, and community stakeholders to expand equitable access to quality learning and meaningful opportunities for youth participation.
Through community-driven advocacy, grassroots mobilisation, and innovative technology-enabled learning programmes, SARAFACDI strengthens learning pathways that are inclusive, relevant, and sustainable. Over the past three years, we have reached and supported more than 20,000 children and youth, providing foundational learning, educational materials, digital skills training, and life skills that empower learners to succeed in school, engage in their communities, and shape their futures with confidence and agency
We now run scholarships, give educational items, train women and girls in vocational and digital technology and equipping them with employability skills.
